On December 26, the city saw the opening of a Early Intervention Center and a Rehabilitation Center.

Both centers are designed to provide high-quality and accessible assistance to children with neuro-orthopedic disorders, congenital developmental defects, and nervous system diseases.

The «Qazaqstan Khalkyna» Rehabilitation Center was established as part of the «QH Rehabilitation Centers» charity project. It has the capacity to provide rehabilitation services to 600 children aged 3 to 18 each year.

The center focuses on individualized rehabilitation programs, which include medical, social, psychological, and pedagogical support.

The building renovation was carried out with the support of ERG, while modern medical equipment was provided by the «Qazaqstan Khalkyna» Fund.

Specialist Training and Future Plans

Center specialists have already completed several advanced training courses with the support of the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation. Over the next two years, further training phases will be conducted with the involvement of international experts.

This year, four additional «Qazaqstan Khalkyna» centers have been opened in the Ulytau, Karaganda, North Kazakhstan regions, and the city of Shymkent.

Early Intervention: A Critical Step for Child Development

A key feature of the «Qamqorlyk» Early Intervention Center is its focus on children under the age of 3—the most crucial period for habilitation measures that help reduce developmental risks and prevent pathologies.

The center is fully equipped with modern facilities, a multi-disciplinary team of specialists, and an optimized environment for early intervention therapy. Each year, it will provide free assistance to 600 children.

Expanding Nationwide Access to Rehabilitation

Over the past five years, the «Qamqorlyk» project has successfully established:
- 23 rehabilitation centers
- 18 early intervention centers
- 7 autism support centers

«The opening of these centers represents concrete steps toward reducing child disabilities and ensuring that assistance is available in regional areas. We are encouraged by the progress made by children in the centers, as well as the professional growth of specialists. We thank our partners for their invaluable contributions to this significant cause!» - stated Alkey Margulanuly, Deputy Executive Director.
