The International cooperation: Korea

Today, Dariga Nazarbayeva, Director of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy, met with the President of the Korea Foundation, Li Sihyung.

The parties discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of scientific, educational, cultural and educational spheres.

Since last August, a memorandum of cooperation has been in place between the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy and the Korea Foundation, aimed at expanding international cooperation in the scientific, educational, cultural and educational spheres, combining the joint efforts of our two countries and peoples in matters of close cooperation in scientific and educational technical development.

The meeting was held in the framework of the international round table  «Denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula. Kazakhstan’s anti-nuclear experience in addressing global challenges».  The event was organized by the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy and IWEP, together with the Korea Foundation to discuss global nuclear security problems, find solutions to the current crisis on the Korean Peninsula, as well as study Kazakhstan’s unique experience in nuclear disarmament.
