Announcement of a competition for grant funding for young scientists

Победителями конкурса стали четверо молодых казахстанских учёных, представивших проекты в области аграрной науки, химии, медицины и философии.
THE FOUNDATION OF NURSULTAN NAZARBAYEV announces a competition for grant funding of young scientists on scientific and technical projects. Four young Kazakhstani scientists who presented projects in the field of agricultural science, chemistry, medicine and philosophy became the winners of the competition.
Recall that the competition was held from March 20 to May 20, 2020. In total, 139 scientific projects from young scientists of the country were submitted to the competition. The competition has been held since 2008. The purpose is to support the most promising scientific developments of young scientists in Kazakhstan, which have a pronounced import-substituting potential, a high degree of innovation and social significance.
It is important to stress, that every year the competition is attended by scientists (persons working in a scientific organization, a higher educational institution or a scientific division of an organization) who have a scientific degree (candidate of science or doctor of science, or doctor of philosophy (PhD), doctor in the field), not over 40 years old, who are citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, actively participating in scientific research.
Competition winners 2020:
- Alikhanov Kuantar Daulenovich, associate professor of the Kazakh National Agrarian University, scientific project "Development of modern means of rehabilitation for the prevention and elimination of infectious diseases based on safe compounds."
- Malmakova Aigul Yerbosynovna, Chief Researcher of the Institute of Chemical Sciences named after A.B. Bekturova, scientific project "New fluorine-substituted aminophosphonates as potential stimulants of wheat germination."
- Tuleutaev Rustem Mukhtarovich, Head of the Department of Cardiac Surgery, Research Institute of Cardiology and Internal Medicine, scientific project "An innovative method of surgery to replace the aorta and aortic valve in aortic aneurysms."
- Toktarov Yermek Baurzhanovich, researcher at Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K. Satpayeva, scientific research "Symbolic capital of the national identity in Kazakhstan".
