In Almaty and Almaty region, schoolchildren from Nur-Sultan, Aktau, Atyrau and Shymkent visited cultural and historical sites inextricably linked with the activities of the First President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev. The Foundation of Elbasy as part of the project  «The Leader’s Way» organized entertaining excursions for almost two hundred children.

Activists and excellent students from four cities visited the school named after  Karasay Batyr, where Nursultan Abishevich studied. It is located in the village of Shamalgan. Then the children visited the Museum of Local History, the memorial complex «Batyr Babalar», the historical and cultural center «Atameken» located in the Almaty region.

An exciting journey continued in the city of Almaty, where a tour of the city was organized for the participants of the tour. Here, schoolchildren visited the Park of the First President, the Central State Museum, the Monument of Independence, as well as the high-mountain skating rink «Medeo», the ski resort «Shymbulak» and Kok-Tobe Park.

 - These three days were the best. I learned that the city of Almaty is very rich in its history. This tour is a great opportunity to get acquainted with the history of the Republic of Kazakhstan. I think that this journey will forever remain in my heart, said Mikhail Tursunov, a schoolboy from Aktau, who shared his impressions.

Note that the project «The Leader's Way» is aimed at developing a sense of patriotism and leadership qualities among young people.
