The best hits of world musicals performed by talented youth of the country will be heard at the festival «ZhasSTAR» in Almaty
The festival with the slogan «Decade of new names» will mark the beginning of an era of young and talented Kazakhstanis.
November 12 / Tuesday / in Almaty will host the international festival of creative youth «ZhasSTAR», organized by the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy. On the stage of the Palace of the Republic, young talents of the country will perform the best hits of world musicals. The Head of Administrative of Almaty supported the large-scale project.
This year, an initiative aimed at the comprehensive development of young Kazakhstanis in the field of art and culture marks its 10th anniversary. Every year, the festival program hosts creative meetings, workshops, lectures, trainings and seminars from recognized cultural figures from different countries for young professionals and students of creative educational institutions of Kazakhstan. During this time, ZhasSTAR was visited by scriptwriter and film director Egor Konchalovsky, musician and producer Baigali Serkebayev, conductor of the Paris Opera National Orchestra Philip Yui, famous stylist M. Lamine, first violinist, soloist of the Orchestra «Moscow Virtuosi» Alexey Lundin. The main goal of the cultural and educational project of the Foundation of Elbasy is to promote the development of culture among young people, as well as to assist young and talented artists in their creative and professional growth.
— For our gifted and promising youth, the festival «ZhasSTAR» is the start for creative development. The knowledge and skills that they receive in the framework of the project contribute to the development of their competitiveness and leadership qualities. Every year we carefully work on the concept and content of the event. Our main guideline in this is to be useful from a practical point of view for all project participants. After all, the skills and experience acquired here help talented Kazakhstani youth win international competitions, participate in foreign festivals and represent the national culture at a decent level, — said Sergey Tokhtarov, the Director of the Foundation’s Representative Office in Almaty.
This year's festival is a concert musical in the format of «Broadway musical shows». ZhasSTAR members of different years, as well as the best representatives of the country's creative youth, will perform the best hits of world musicals on the stage of the main concert hall of Almaty. The festival program will include compositions from such musicals as «The Greatest Showman», «Beauty and the Beast», «Romeo and Juliet», «Chicago», «Dostar sertі», «La La Land», «Mamma mia», etc.
The organization and conduct of the concert also involved young designers, stage designers, decorators, choreographers, stage directors and many others. Thus, the festival will demonstrate the result of the fruitful work of the Foundation of Elbasy aimed at identifying, supporting and developing promising creative youth in Kazakhstan.
We also note that for 10 years the festival «ZhasSTAR» has become a center of attraction for creative youth from all over the country and a vibrant brand of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy.
