The delegation of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhsta - Elbasy, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the United Kingdom, held a number of meetings in London on cooperation within the framework of the implementation of the FFP programs.

Negotiations were held with the leadership of the British Council, scientific and educational centers of Cambridge University, Kazakh-British society, members of the House of Lords, as well as with Kazakhstani doctoral students and students studying there.

Asset Issekeshev spoke in detail about the launch of two new initiatives of Nursultan Nazarbayev. The first is «El Umiti», this is a new system for identifying and supporting talented children and youth. The second initiative is «Kamkorlyk», aimed at supporting children with disabilities.

As part of the meetings, a memorandum was signed with Cambridge University and an agreement was reached on the implementation of educational programs and scientific research, as well as support for startup projects of winners and laureates of the Foundation of the First President - Elbasy.

Centers of robotics, engineering and the Cavendish Laboratory, known for its strong scientists, are ready to provide their bases for practical training for Kazakhstani youth. It was from here that 34 Nobel laureates came.

Also, the delegation of the Foundation of the First President held meetings on medical and social rehabilitation and inclusive education for children with special needs.

Another meeting was held within the walls of the analytical center  «Chatham House». This is one of the most respected think tanks in the Top 10 Global Ranking for the University of Pennsylvania (Global Go To Think Tank Index Report). The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation between Chatham House and the Institute of World Economics and Politics (IWEP) under the Foundation of the First President.

It should be noted that the Foundation of the First President - Elbasy pays special attention to research activities, including through the development of international partnerships. Since last year, memorandums of cooperation have already been signed with organizations such as: UNICEF, the House of Asia (Casa Asia) under the Government of Spain, the Korea Foundation, the Japanese Goi Peace Foundation, and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
