ZHASSTAR International Festival

ZHASSTAR is an international festival organized by the Foundation for creative youth. It is held annually and provides a platform for the exchange of experience between leading artists and talented young people. Since its launch, Zhasstar has developed great traditions to generate new ideas and inspire its participants.

The festival program includes events in filmmaking, music, literature, theatre and dance. Famous artists conduct master classes, art evenings and lectures for young talents sharing their professional hints and telling about the specifics of their work. The festival also features art exhibitions, fashion shows and concerts. 

ZHASSTAR has been held since 2009 and every year it gathers more than 1,000 participants and guests from Kazakhstan, Russia, France, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Yakutia, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, and other countries. With this, Zhasstar can be considered as one of the main cultural events for young talents in Kazakhstan.
