The International Festival-Contest «The Planet of ART – 2019» reopens its doors to talented young people from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan aged 12 to 17 years old to discover its creative potential.

 

The festival-contest is held in three nominations: vocal, instrumental music and choreography.

 

«The Planet of ART – 2019», dedicated to the celebration of the Year of Youth in Kazakhstan and the promotion of the program «Ruhani zangyru», organized by the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs and the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy.

 

The project is exclusively social in nature and supports gifted young performers to realize their creative potential and popularize the diversity of cultures of the participating countries in the international arena by demonstrating children's creativity.

 

It is expected that more than 3,500 children from all over Kazakhstan and neighboring countries will take part in «The Planet of ART-2019».

 

According to the results of the competitive selection, the most gifted participants will have a unique opportunity to light their star and get experience from outstanding masters in the field of art.

 

The finalists of the festival-contest will be invited to Almaty in September 2019, where they will have the unique opportunity to undergo a series of trainings and master classes from the best mentors in the field of art, get acquainted with the national culture of Kazakhstan, present their own and find friends from different countries.

 

The festival-contest will end with a gala-concert accompanied by the symphonic orchestra of the Akim of Almaty under the direction of the Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan A.V. Belyakov and with the participation of prominent artists of our country.

 

The winners of «The Planet of ART-2019» will be presented with a cultural and educational trip to America and European countries.

«The Planet of ART – 2019» is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of Almaty City, the National Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan for UNESCO and ISESCO, the UNESCO Cluster Office in Almaty, the Asia-Pacific Federation of Clubs of UNESCO Associations.

Recall that the annual project began in 1999 under the title  «Draw the Children of the World». For 20 years, the festival-contest has covered more than 35,000 participants. The project has several times expanded its borders from national to sub-regional Central Asian and regional Asia-Pacific levels. In 2017, the winners of the project performed at UNESCO headquarters (Paris), proudly representing our country in the international arena.
