The development foundation of state language at the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Foundation «Otastanstar» signed a memorandum on joint activities
The parties agreed to create conditions for the free development of the Kazakh language by foreign compatriots, as well as to take part in the implementation of an effective language policy.
In the near future, joint efforts will be launched distance learning courses of the Kazakh language for compatriots abroad. Training will take place online via Skype.
It is planned to work closely with interested Kazakh ethnocultural and public associations in other countries. Special Kazakh language classrooms equipped with interactive whiteboards will be opened. It will be a kind of network of Sunday schools, where, in addition to self-study, students will be able to get together and communicate with other students. Despite the possibility of learning a language outside the office at any time, the organizers consider it necessary to organize an offline space.
An effective system for the development of the Kazakh language, based on innovative methods, is being developed for compatriots abroad, the head of the development foundation of state language, said Azat Shaueyev.
«We already have experience of distance learning on the basis of the portal Soyle.kz. This is the first free project in Kazakhstan to study and popularize the Kazakh language via the Internet online. It was carried out as a result of extensive research, analysis and familiarization of the experience of other states in this matter. Therefore, we will come to everything thoroughly. For example, for the convenience of our foreign compatriots, we have created an English-Latin version of the portal. Now the Kazakh language can be studied in the Latin alphabet», he informed.
In addition, the agreement provides for joint activities on language policy, assistance in the work of domestic websites that promote the development of state language in the electronic information space, as well as the development of a textbook on the Kazakh language for compatriots abroad.
