TOP 50 NGOs selected for the finals of the social ideas and projects competition

The results of the second stage of the contest of social ideas and projects «Zamannyn` ziatker jastary - vision of the future» have been summed up. 50 non-governmental organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan will present their projects in the final of the competition - as part of the Fair of Social Ideas and Projects, which will be held April 16-17 in Almaty.

This year, 161 applications from 16 regions of the country were submitted to the contest of social ideas and projects. According to the results of the preliminary two stages, the competition commission selected 50 projects corresponding to a given topic and nominations. Now the finalists will have full-time defense of social projects in front of the jury members. NGOs whose ideas will receive high ratings from the commission will receive funding from the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy to implement projects on a practical level.

Recall that the aim of the competition is the development of civil society, the involvement of the potential of its institutions to address pressing social and socially significant tasks, as well as support civil initiatives for further start-up funding.

This year, according to the updated conditions of the competition, non-governmental non-profit organizations, public organizations, ethnic communities, public and private foundations and institutions, associations, unions, interest clubs, community councils and youth initiative groups took part in it.
