«Atameken Juldyzy» - wide road for new pop stars
New large-scale musical project organized by the Almaty College of Music, named after P.I. Tchaikovsky with the full support of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy. The competition competed 60 participants aged from 15 to 24 years - students of pop vocal departments of music colleges in Kazakhstan, China and Uzbekistan.
At the opening ceremony of the competition, Sergey Tokhtarov, the Director of the Representative Office of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy in Almaty, noted the importance of such projects, which are a launching pad for young talented performers whose musical career is just beginning. Wishing the contestants good luck and inspiration, he stressed that the Foundation is always ready to support creative young people in various areas of art and culture.
— The competition is inspired by the strategic program «Ruhani Zangyru» and the Year of Youth in Kazakhstan, which determines its mission to realize the creative potential of young talents, - said Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Director of Almaty College of Music named after P. I. Tchaikovsky Birzhan Khasangaliyev. - The jury, headed diva of Kazakhstan platform, a graduate of this College Nagima Eskaliyeva, entered also well-known pop singers and producers - former lead singer of the popular group «KeshYOU» Anel Arinova, the winner of the competition «Zhas Kanat», member of the band «Dara», Nurgul Nugmanova singer Zhanbol Tuleshev and teacher Aliya Ayub.
Under the terms of the competition, young singers sang one Kazakh song, a world hit and a third composition at will.
Prima of vocal marathon, the highest award-winning Grand Prix, became a student of the Almaty College of Music named after P. I. Tchaikovsky Akerke Amalyat.
— The jury and the audience won the beautiful voice of the wide range Akerke. What is important is her artistry - the ability to transform and create different artistic images in the performance of songs, the exact observance of the style of the works and the technical perfection of the performance. The first prize was shared by a student of the college named after. P. I. Tchaikovsky Aruzhan Aydarbek and a college student at Kazakh National University of Arts from Nur-Sultan Daulet Orazbek. He was in the top three since the first round, thanks to a strong lyrical talent with a song from the repertoire of the group «Musicola» «Sen munundy ber magan».
«Silver» has a talented singer Kamila Bolatbek. The listeners were fascinated by the emotional and spiritual depth of her singing. The voice of a young singer has a great range and beautiful timbre. Kamila played a song from the repertoire of Gaukhar Kaspakova. The second prize was also awarded to Saniya Tanatarova and Aizara Artykbayeva. All of them are students of the Almaty College of Music named after P. I. Tchaikovsky.
Four singers won Bronze: Zhandos Muhammadi and Laura Zakirova represented the College named after P.I. Tchaikovsky, Aruna Kazbek - the vocalist from Kokshetau. In this group also Uzbek singer Asel Akmurzayeva, who demonstrated good pronunciation in the Kazakh song «Tugan Zher», also distinguished herself with musicality and an infallible sense of rhythm.
Iliyas Saitpenbetov and Kymbat Zhambylbek were awarded the title of the contest prize-winners.
Three contestants - Abubakir Kuralbek, Kegenkhanbatyr Nurdilda and Ayazhan Meyrman - received special prizes from the director of the college Birzhan Khasangaliyev.
In general, the republican contest of pop singers «Atameken Juldyzy» showed that the level of preparation of the contestants allows them to be nominated for prestigious competitions not only in the near but also abroad. Also, the participants of the competition and members of the jury expressed a general opinion that the project has great potential in the future, since it aims at the development of national traditions of vocal performance.
