The Deputy Executive Director of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy, Member of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe from the Republic of Kazakhstan Igor Rogov participated in the 119th plenary session of the European Commission on democracy through Council of Europe law (Venice Commission). The event took place on June 21-22 in the city of Venice (Italy).

The session was attended by the leadership of the Council of Europe, the European Union, the OSCE, the Venice Commission, leaders and members of parliaments, courts and constitutional justice bodies of foreign countries.

The main part of the session was devoted to the adoption of the conclusions of the Commission on the legislative acts of individual states.

During the session, Igor Rogov informed the international legal community about the latest political and legal changes in our country. The report aroused great interest of the meeting participants and was favorably received by the leadership of the Commission.

Bilateral meetings took place with the leaders of the Venice Commission and the constitutional courts of several states.

Igor Rogov discussed with the President of the Venice Commission Gianni Buquicchio cooperation between the legal community of the country, as well as the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy.

The management of the Commission expressed satisfaction with the work being carried out and readiness for further cooperation with Kazakhstan.
