50 finalists of the « IV Creativity Academy of UNESCO Clubs» from across the country have passed a unique educational program
As part of the celebration of the Year of Youth on June 25, 2019, the final Gala Concert «IV Creativity Academy of UNESCO Clubs» was held at the theater of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. K. Zhurgenov. The annual 10-day innovation platform for raising the level of education and comprehensive youth development is dedicated to the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs.
From June 16 to June 26, the « IV Creativity Academy of UNESCO Clubs» gathered the most gifted, talented and motivated children and teenagers from all regions of our vast country with a mission to uncover talents and support them in achieving their dreams.
Today, when the state makes plans for the future and determines the vectors of further development, undoubtedly, its main driving force in the very near future will be energetic young leaders educated in the spirit of patriotism and civic responsibility. In this regard, now the fourth cycle of the «Creativity Academy of UNESCO Clubs» has opened its doors for a talented younger generation aged 12 to 18 years from all over Kazakhstan. Every year, improving the program of the Academy, this year the project organizers, in addition to traditional creative directions, introduced a new nomination - «scientific and project activities».
The Creativity Academy of UNESCO is a unique platform for Kazakhstani youth, providing an opportunity to gain valuable knowledge in all fields of education from leading specialists and masters of the country. The project that got its start in 2016 is now an annual event of the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs and the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy. The Academy aims to develop and support talented youth of Kazakhstan with the aim of educating the younger generation in the spirit of tolerance and shaping the future of the creative and scientific potential of the state.
The goal of the project: development and support of the gifted young generation of the Republic of Kazakhstan through the implementation of innovative approaches in education to shape the future creative and scientific potential of the state.
Organizers: The Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs together with the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy with the support of the company «Chevron».
The competitive stage of the project has covered more than 2,000 of the most motivated and talented children and teenagers from 14 regions and remote regions of our vast country. The competent jury selected 50 of the most gifted children in six nominations for participation in the Academy. The 10-day innovative educational program was built in the following areas: scientific and project activities, communication skills and oratory, visual arts, musical art, vocal art and choreographic art.
- You know, on the first day, when I arrived at the «IV Creativity Academy of UNESCO Clubs», I could not even imagine what would be sad to say goodbye to the project, with volunteers, participants, mentors, educators, and undoubtedly with the organizers represented by Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs and the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy. I am infinitely grateful to everyone who made an invaluable contribution to our comprehensive development. Now I understand what a happiness it is to be a member of UNESCO Clubs. According to the organizers, the students of the Academy underwent a rich educational and cultural program, where the interests of each participant were taken into account. An enormous amount of work was done in the search for the best mentors and speakers with an innovative approach to training and lecture courses. This year, the program was also diversified in such a way that the children could gain valuable knowledge after passing special practical lectures on «STEAM Education», various master classes, a series of trainings on leadership, skills of the 21st century, tolerance, and global citizenship formation with invited teachers and lecturers from leading universities in the country.
According to the participants, the brightest impressions they received during the first #ARTmobAlmaty in Kazakhstan - an art mob at the metro stations in Almaty, together with the boy band Mad Men. A touching day also entered the piggy bank when the guys laid a time capsule with a message to the future generation of the finalists of the project «IV Creativity Academy of the UNESCO Clubs».
Thanks to the support of well-known figures of Kazakhstan, such as: Gani Abadan (Business coach, member of the Council for Science at the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy, author of the first training book in Kazakhstan on creating business # BusinessPoLubvi), Zaure Rozmat (the founder of the media project The Steppe), Almas Tuyakbayev (the founder of the ZeroToOneLabs.com project) and Arman Yusupov (the founder and ideological inspirer of Yuframe and company «2any1»), talented guys had a unique opportunity to attend creative meetings and master classes with the aforementioned speakers and ask interested f their questions to get closer to your dream.
The outcome of this event was a solemn gala concert, in which participants in the nomination of musical, vocal and choreographic art demonstrated their honed skills in their concert numbers and performed with the popular ethno-folk group «Arkaim». In addition, the finalists of the art direction presented their final works, executed under the guidance of famous artists at the exhibition of artists. In the nomination of scientific activities, the participants for the first time in the history of the project spoke in the format of «Science Slam», which involves an intellectual duel in a simple and accessible language. In turn, the finalists of the communicative-oratory art nomination, having improved their skills in oratory and acting directions, presented world-famous works in their performance. At the end, all the finalists came out to perform the «Anthem of the UNESCO Clubs» and having charged up with the incredible atmosphere of the hall, they felt like real members of the huge family of the Federation of UNESCO Clubs. The best graduates of the Academy, of course, will become a kind of personnel reserve for the future of the creative and scientific potential of Kazakhstan.
