The III international forum of young scientists, which began in Nur-Sultan, «Burabay Forum: international cooperation of Kazakhstan» today continued its work in Burabay. The organizer of a large scientific site was the Council for Science under the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy, the forum was supported by the Akimat of the Akmola region.

The second day of the forum was opened by the international discussion platform «Problems and Prospects for the Implementation of Innovation Projects in the Eurasian Economic Union». The section moderator, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the Russian Academy of Sciences Andrei Kotelnikov, presented a number of questions to the discussion participants regarding the implementation of innovative projects and ways to solve them. In particular, young scientists raised the problem of commercialization of scientific projects, which is widespread in many Commonwealth of Independent States countries.

Two years ago, the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, spoke about the commercialization of scientific projects in Kazakhstan. Then Elbasy noted that in our country a law was adopted on the commercialization of scientific and technical research, and the procedure for allocating grants for scientists was simplified.

At the next discussion platform, young scientists from different countries, including Kazakhstan, shared their experience of participation in the organizational management system. Using concrete examples and cases, scientists demonstrated the results of the reforms carried out in various organizations of the public and commercial sectors.

The most striking part of the second day of the forum was the discussion platform «Management in the field of science: current trends, opportunities and challenges». Representatives of the ministries of industry and infrastructural development and agriculture, the tourism and leisure industry association of the Akmola region and other representatives of state bodies of Kazakhstan volunteered to answer many pressing questions of young scientists.

Igor Rogov, Deputy Executive Director of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Elbasy, who moderated this site, emphasized:

- By organizing the third consecutive year of the Burabay Forum with such an impressive membership, the Elbasy Foundation has two main goals. The first is to assist young scientists in establishing effective interaction with government agencies, since the development of modern science is impossible without organizational and financial assistance from the state. Thanks to this forum, young scientists have the opportunity to express their ideas and propose new scientific solutions at the highest level. And the second forum task is to exchange experience and practices between scientists from different countries who in their scientific work face the same barriers and problems as their foreign colleagues.

It is worth noting that this year the forum was attended by more than 120 young scientists and representatives of research institutes of Kazakhstan, Armenia, Belarus, Hungary, China, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.

- It is very great that the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Elbasy, provides such an opportunity for young scientists as the Burabay Forum. Here we discuss issues of joint cooperation in the field of science and innovation between young scientists from the Commonwealth of Independent States countries,» says Gevorg Vardanyan, candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia. - Based on the results of our participation in this forum last year, Kazakhstan and Armenia signed a memorandum of cooperation, as well as an agreement was reached on the implementation of a joint project to develop seismic sensors. Once again I want to express my deep gratitude to the Elbasy Foundation for organizing such an international scientific platform. I am sure that with Kazakhstani colleagues we are initiating more than one innovative project.

Ahead of the young scientists - participants of the Burabay Forum - large-scale work. On the third day of the forum, sectional meetings will be held in such fields of science as physics, chemistry, logistics, marketing, agriculture, medicine and Eurasianism. Based on the results of the work of each section, scientists will develop specific solutions for improving and developing the designated branches of science and education.

The third Burabay Forum will end on August 9 with the adoption of a resolution, which will subsequently be sent to the relevant state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is expected that in this document the forum participants will propose effective measures to eliminate scientific problems that impede the development of research activities in Kazakhstan.
