Opening of the III international forum of young scientists «Burabay Forum»
Today, the Science Council under the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy, opened the work of the four-day international forum of young scientists «Burabay Forum: the international cooperation of Kazakhstan». Thanks to the forum, a constructive dialogue takes place between young scientists and government representatives, participants find new ways of development in the fields of science, education, healthcare, agribusiness, innovation, etc.
At the opening of the Burabay Forum, the Executive Director of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy Asset Issekeshev, spoke about the active development of the processes of urbanization and changing the labor market in content: «According to experts, many types of professions will disappear and be replaced by artificial intelligence. All these are serious challenges that concern all countries. Along with overcoming these challenges, there is always the need to support youth. For the Foundation of Elbasy, this is one of the main priorities … One of the new initiatives of the Foundation is «El Umіti». This project is aimed at the development of talented youth. We continue to work on new mechanisms to support young people. The Burabay Forum will also contribute to this».
Over the three years of the large-scale project of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy, business contacts between educational institutions of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries have expanded. The partnership of young scientists established within the framework of the event contributes to joint research.
– The Foundation of Elbasy has always sponsored many projects aimed at supporting the initiatives of talented youth. The forum of young scientists is one of them. We live in an age of rapid change. They pose new challenges for society to transform legislation. The Constitutional Council draws attention to the need to form a legal culture of youth. At the same time, we rely on practical advice of young people who, I think, will voice them in the framework of the Forum, said Kairat Mami, Chairman of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
This year, the Burabay Forum brought together young scientists from 12 countries – Kazakhstan, Armenia, Belarus, Hungary, China, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and France. During the meeting, the participants plan to analyze current issues, such as new functional materials and high technology, Kazakhstan in the socio-political and historical-cultural space of Eurasia, digital technology in marketing and logistics, the 21st century agro-industrial complex: the science of innovation, systemic medicine, multidisciplinary development medicine, health care and social security.
– We all know that now in the modern world there is a competition for the possession of new technologies in all sectors. And the civil service system, as a conduit for transformations, is an area where changes must take place vigorously. In this regard, the Agency is improving the mechanisms for receiving qualified personnel for the civil service … This requires the interaction and cooperation of experts and scientists. In this regard, the discussion of topical issues at the Burabay Forum contributes to the real progress of science and public life, attracting young people to realize this, said Anar Zhailganova, Chairman of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Also, as part of the Burabay Forum, an exhibition of innovative projects and start-ups was held, where domestic manufacturers demonstrated their products.
– The exhibition will allow authors of innovative projects to receive not only feedback from qualified specialists, but also give them a new impetus for improvement. At the same time, the high level of the forum encourages researchers to present projects at the proper level. Moreover, young researchers dealing with new problems in science need intelligent platforms where they can share the results of their work, express their talents to the appropriate audience and be heard. And such a platform is provided on a systematic basis by the Foundation of Elbasy, said the Chairperson of the Science Council under the First President’s Foundation, Doctor of Social Sciences, Professor Gulmira Abdirayimova.
This year the forum was attended by the Chairman of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Mami, the Executive Director of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy Asset Issekeshev, Chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Public Service Anar Zhailganova, the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Aymagambetov, the Minister of Agriculture Republic of Kazakhstan Saparkhan Omarov, the Vice Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan Elvira Azimova, the Vice Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Timur Toktabayev, the Vice Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Abishev, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the Russian Academy of Sciences Andrey Kotelnikov, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia Vardanyan Gevorg, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan Menu Mamadyusufova and many others.
The scientific event will continue in the Akmola region, where section meetings and discussion platforms in various areas of science will be held. The forum will end with the adoption of a resolution on August 9.
