The Foundation of the First President handed certificates to the winners of the competition «Mereily Otbasy»

In Nur Sultan, on the eve of the Family Day holiday, an awarding ceremony was held for the winners of the annual National Competition «Mereily Otbasy». Among the 17 finalist families, the family of Tlekkabylov’s from Atyrau region won. The winner of the contest is determined by the results of sms / online voting among the population.

The Deputy Prime Minister Berdybek Saparbayev presented to Tlekkabylov’s with a commemorative figurine and the keys to a minibus. In turn, from the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy, all families-finalists were given certificates for the purchase of household appliances.

The National Competition «Mereily Otbasy» was established on the initiative of Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev in 2013. The purpose of this competition is to strengthen the institution of the family, cultivate family and spiritual moral values, increase the responsibility of spouses, parents in raising children, and care for children of elderly parents. Holding the contest «Mereily Otbasy» has become a good tradition in Kazakhstan.

The winners of the competition are exemplary families where the preservation of family values, love for the homeland and work are fundamental life principles.

One of the finalist families represented the Kostanay region. Bubliky’s have been married for 55 years. Nadezhda Mikhailovna arrived in the capital with her children. The family of Bublik’s is a dynasty of hard workers. Nadezhda Mikhailovna – is the teacher of mathematics.

«I would like young people to take an example from the older generation. Creating your own families is a unit of society. And of course, the secret of a strong family is love and kindness», says Nadezhda Bublik.

Over the six-year history of the contest, 15 197 families took part in the contest «Mereily Otbasy». Of the total number of participants, 62% are families from rural areas, 36% are large families, 18% are young families, 17% are representatives of labor dynasties. The number of participants is growing annually. In 2014, 1,298 families participated in the competition, this year they are 2.5 times more.

We add that the socially-oriented project «Mereily Otbasy» helps strengthen the institution of the family and promote family values and traditions.

The award ceremony ended with a festive concert with the participation of famous artists of the Kazakhstan stage.
