Talented Adelina Mukhametzhanova gives Kazakhstan another victory.
The young Kazakhstani returned from New York with a big victory. The talented Adelina Mukhametzhanova became the first degree winner of the international competition of academic vocalists “American Protégé”. For the first time, the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy supported the young talent to present our country at such a prestigious musical contest.
By the way, Adelina was the only one among the contestants not only from Kazakhstan, but also from all over the CIS. She took part in the creative competition together with musicians from the USA, Great Britain, Canada, Australia, Italy, Thailand, Germany, China, India and Malaysia.
The complexity of the American Protégé contest is evidenced by the fact that out of thousand applications from all over the world, only 31 performers of different ages entered the finals. The stringent requirements of the competition and strict professional jury identified the best of the best. Among them, the owner of travel grant from Elbasy Foundation, Adelina Mukhametzhanova, who won first place in its age category.
The American Protégé finalists were especially proud of the performance on the stage of famous Carnegie Hall. Our compatriot in the walls of the legendary hall performed the song of Sarah Brightman “Nella Fantasia”, the composer of which is Ennio Morricone.
— Kazakhstan was represented at this competition for the first time, for this reason, it is a big victory for me and for our country! Visiting competitions in different countries, I would like to note that American Protégé was held at a high professional level, and we are grateful to the organizers for the opportunity to perform in one of the best halls of the world. I would like to express my deep gratitude to the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy for support to participate in this project. Currently, I am preparing to represent our country at competitions in Italy and the UK, – said Adelina Mukhametzhanova.
