The Foundation of the First President will give a New Year circus performance to children from Almaty and Almaty region
ALMATY. PRESS SERVICE OF THE FOUNDATION OF THE FIRST PRESIDENT — On 19 December /Thursday/ Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy will gather more than 1,500 children from Almaty and Almaty region in the Kazakh state circus, which will host the Nutcracker and Mouserinks New Year performance based on the tale the Nutcracker and the Mouse King by Ernst Theodor Amadeus Hoffmann.
Every year, the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan organizes bright New Year performances with dances around the Christmas tree, performances of professional artists, including world stars (ballet, theater, puppet show), fun games with animators, tasty and memorable gifts for children of different ages from Almaty and the region. This year, more than 1,500 children from large and low-income families, pupils of social institutions, specialized boarding schools, children with intellectual and physical disabilities of the southern capital, as well as the cities of Issyk, Kapchagay, Kaskelen and Talgar will take part in the New Year charity event.
The characters of the Nutcracker and Mouserinks New Year’s story will be performed by leading invited Kazakh and foreign circus artists - aerialists, acrobats, equilibrists, trained animals and comic actress Oksana Neskladnaya (Big Moscow circus, Moscow). As at any children's event, Santa Claus and snow maiden will present their magic at the circus arena. The fabulous action will be accompanied by the famous acrobatic show ballet of the Kazakh state circus.
The New Year’s program synthesizes the best traditions of circus, theatrical, musical and choreographic arts. The production team, in addition to the entertainment, also set educational tasks. New circus plays were created especially for the performance; a large number of costumes and circus property were made. Grand laser show is prepared too.
At the end of the circus tale, children will receive New Year gifts from the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy and Rakhat JSC.
Partners of the charity project are the Department of education of Almaty, Rakhat JSC and the Kazakh state circus.
