Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation will train 336 specialists in the field of inclusion
The Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation organizes training for 336 specialists to work in the Inclusive Education Support Rooms in 8 regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Within the framework of the initiative of the Yelbasy "Qamqorlyq", driven by the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation, Inclusion Support Rooms are planed to be opened in 8 regions of the country.
In general, the initiative includes a wide range of activities for the development of an inclusive society. At the first stage, the task was to create an infrastructure for children with special needs - the opening of rehabilitation centers and rooms for supporting inclusive education.
Currently, the akimats of eight regions - Almaty, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan, East Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, Turkestan, Kostanay and Nur-Sultan are completing the renovation of inclusion support rooms in 16 schools, according to the developed design projects. The furniture and equipment was purchased with the support of the Sovereign Wealth Fund «SAMRUK-KAZYNA».
Teachers and specialists are also trained to work in inclusion support classes. Online training programs have already been launched on August 15, to train teaching assistants / tutors within four areas, as well as methodologists from all areas. As of today 94 specialists have received complete training and courses for 109 specialists are underway.
Starting from September 1st all 16 schools have started annual supervision, whereas all specialists and teachers that are involved are receiving special training. Due to well organized education courses young specialist are easily joining the process.
Training of all specialists and supervision of Inclusion Support Rooms is carried out by the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation.
Inclusion support Rooms will help homeschooled children join educational process and study with their peers.
As a result, it is planned to include up to 40 children with special educational needs per each school in school education.
