Over the past few months, testing and preparation for the production of kits for sensory development have been conducted. They include aromaloto, cards for visual perception, sensory bags, simulators for auditory perception, sensory lottos. In the process of creating the kits, young people with disabilities participated.

The project is implemented by the public association «Center for Social Initiatives «Belsen» with grant support from the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy. He became one of the winners of the Fair of social ideas and projects «Zamannyn` ziatker jastary - vision of the future» organized by the Foundation in April this year.

As part of the presentation of the project «Kishkentai», a master class was held for correctional room workers.

In Kazakhstan, there are no analogues of the sensory kit that was created by our team. When developing the project, we focused on the fact that this kit should be convenient and affordable. Sensory development benefits can be used not only by rehabilitation room specialists, but also by parents who work with children at home, — says Gulmira Parmysheva, the founder of the project «Kishkentai».

The presentation was attended by representatives of correctional rooms, centers and foundations from the cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Kostanay, Aktobe, as well as Karaganda, Kyzylorda, East Kazakhstan, North Kazakhstan and Akmola regions.

It should be noted that all sensory sets produced within the framework of the project were donated to correction rooms and special institutions in 11 regions of the country.
