The International conference «Eurasian historical heritage: The verge of history - from the origins to the present» held in Nur Sultan
The conference was organized by the Foundation of Elbasy and the Institute of State History of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The work of the dialogue platform is aimed at making recommendations on the implementation of the project «Archive-2025», intensifying the study of the main events of national history, reflected in state programs, Messages, speeches of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev, the dissemination of information about the domestic historical heritage at the international level.
Igor Rogov, the Deputy Executive Director of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan- Elbasy, noted in his welcoming speech the significance of the conference: «The international conference is another step towards practical understanding of the conceptual ideas of Elbasy, including those reflected in the article «7 facets of the Great Steppe». It is designed to combine the efforts of the scientific community, domestic and foreign experts in matters of conducting joint research in various fields and historical periods. At the same time, the conference will serve to strengthen cooperation between historians, scientists, preservation of spiritual values between the peoples of the Eurasian continent».
During the event, issues of developing promising areas of research search within the framework of the project «Archive-2025», preparation and publication of the biographical encyclopedia «Great Names of the Great Steppe» were discussed. Particular attention is paid to the study of the relationship of the Turkic and Slavic worlds, in particular, the history of the formation and development of Kazakh-Russian relations.
