With the support of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy, in Almaty Music College named after P. Tchaikovsky a concert «Uly  dalanyn zhetі Kyry» was held, dedicated to the promotion of the main provisions of the program article of the President N.A. Nazarbayev «7 facets of the Great Steppe».

Teachers and students of the branches «Traditional singing» and «Folk instruments» performed on the stage of the concert hall named after Yermek Serkebayev. They performed the best examples of traditional Kazakh music.

The event featured a significant event in the cultural life of the city - the opening ceremony of the «Museum of the College's History», as well as the presentation of the second CD «Köshpendiler Aueni».

«There is no future without the past. Therefore, the article of the President N.A. Nazarbayev's  «Seven Facets of the Great Steppe» served as a postulate for us in the creation of the College's History Museum, the opening of which was adorned with a concert and a presentation of the CD «Köshpendyler Aueni». We express our deep gratitude to the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy for supporting our projects», said the Director of the College named after. P. Tchaikovsky, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Birzhan Khasangaliyev.

Among the invited guests were outstanding performers who glorified the college far beyond our country, famous graduates of different years, the oldest teachers who stood at the origins and made a great contribution to the education and upbringing of a worthy generation of musicians, as well as outstanding representatives of the culture and art of Kazakhstan: Murat Serkebayev, Artist of Kazakhstan; Nagima Eskaliyeva, People’s Artist of Kazakhstan; Aigul Ulkenbayeva, Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan; and many others.
