From the idea to the project «Tugan zher: Great heritage of Kazakhstan»
The presentation of the project «Tugan Zher: The Great Heritage of Kazakhstan» took place in Almaty. The project is the winner of the Fair of social ideas and projects in 2018 of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy.
The fair «From social innovations to modernization, socialization and evolution of society» is aimed at preserving cultural heritage, creating cultural values, introducing the younger generation to the origins of folk culture, shaping spiritual and moral qualities, awakening and developing interest in cultural traditions.
Within the framework of the project, the «Almaty Nomad» Travel Club organized a patriotic media rally around the cities and regions of Kazakhstan in order to capture informative stories about the country's natural, historical and cultural attractions.
During the presentation, the representative of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan G. Yershimanova noted: «The project is important because it contributes to the dissemination of the ideas of Elbasy, set forth in the article «Seven Facets of the Great Steppe». Implementing this project, the goal is to form patriotism in society, a sense of pride in its history and strengthen spiritual values».
The film crew visited the Zhambyl, Turkestan, Kyzylorda, Mangystau, Kokshetau and Almaty regions. 30 television scenes about the great heritage of Kazakhstan were shot and created. The authors told about the Akyrtas palace complex, Aisha Bibi and Karakhan mausoleums, Beket-Ata mosque, valley of balls, valley of castles, ancient cities Ispidzhab, Sauran, Otrar, Turkestan. On the creation of plots took more than eight months.
The necessary information was provided by well-known archaeologists, ethnographers, religious scholars and culturologists. Interviews of scientists and public figures are recorded: K. Baipakov, N. Baitenov, A. Koshim, K. Begalinov, I. Kamaldinov and many others. The materials were published in three languages: Kazakh, Russian and English.
The project was awarded the Diploma of the first national award in the field of tourism «National Tourism Awards» for the best story «Valley of Castles, «fallen» land and Kazakh Arizona ...».
Currently, project participants are organizing open lectures in schools and universities of Almaty with a demonstration of the full cycle of subjects.
