The Year of Youth, which is held in Kazakhstan in 2019 at the initiative of Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev, is designed to bring work with the younger generation to a new level.

For the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy, supporting youth initiatives and encouraging talent has always been one of the most important priorities in the work.

To implement these tasks, we have developed special programs, and one of them is a competitive program to support young talents in the field of culture and art. Over the years of its existence, it allowed dozens of top projects to be realized, which popularized our art and culture in the country and abroad, and also helped to catch fire to new Kazakhstan stars in cinema, theater, performing arts, visual arts, and many other areas.

On February 1, a grant competition was launched to support creative projects in the field of culture and art. The Foundation allocates grants to its winners for the implementation of innovative creative projects: the creation of films, the organization of exhibitions, concerts and so on. During the years of the competition, 60 people received grants from the Foundation in the field of culture and art.
