Competition «Grants for travel» announced

To achieve success in any field it is not enough just to have talent, to be a gifted person. It is important to develop yourself, strive to realize your abilities, constantly work on yourself.

Participation in contests, festivals, symposia and other large-scale events gives you the opportunity to broaden your horizons, draw inspiration and improve your skills.

Since 2008, the Foundation of the First President has been holding a contest «Grants for Travel» as part of a program to support young talents in the field of culture and art.

The purpose of the competition is the participation of young Kazakhstani personalities and creative teams in festivals, competitions, symposia, master classes, biennale and conferences held in the Republic of Kazakhstan and abroad.

During the existence of the competition, over 100 grants have been awarded. Due to this, the best representatives of creative youth managed to become laureates of many international competitions and festivals, loudly announcing themselves to the world and earning the love of fans.

Young Kazakhstani cultural and art workers under the age of 40, as well as creative teams can take part in the competition.

Grants are allocated in the following three areas:

- literature, journalism;

- choreography, music, theater, cinema;

- art, architecture and design.
