Qamqorlyq

Qamqorlyq is the initiative aimed towards the development of an inclusive society and the creation of the environment of equal conditions and opportunities, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, social status, physical or mental state.

At present, there are more than  5.7 million children in Kazakhstan; among them - 89 thousand children are registered with disabilities and 150 thousand children have special educational needs. Often their parents have no idea where and how they can access qualified assistance and credible information. That is why the Nursultan Nazarbayev launched the 'Qamqorlyq' initiative. The main goal of this initiative is to create an equal society, where people with disabilities will not only have access to qualified help, but will also be involved in an active public life.

Here you will find information on medical and legal services broken down by regions, recommendations on how to receive a referral to treatment and rehabilitation, register a disability, allowance and pass reexamination. You can also find simple step-by-step instructions for parents of children with special needs, information on inclusive preschool facilities and schools. 

People with disabilities no longer need to study social infrastructure, because the platform will gather information about facilities and non-government organizations that provide assistance, including their address, phone numbers, and websites. There is also an opportunity to submit proposals on how to improve the quality of life, ask questions or address a problem that concerns you and requires help. 

We seek to connect those who need assistance with those who can provide it - charity, philanthropists, and volunteers who are ready to contribute to a good cause. 

We sincerely believe that Qamqorlyq will be one of the first drivers to develop an inclusive society in Kazakhstan bringing like-minded people together to achieve this goal.
