Unusual symbiosis of popular soundtracks and modern works presented the Laureates of the Foundation of the First President at the concert in Almaty
The concert of the Laureates of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy «With a dream in the heart - on the way to the top!» was held on the stage of the Opera and Ballet Theater named after Abay. Become traditional, this long-awaited event in the cultural life of the country again surprised with its unique program and unusual format. Laureates of the Foundation of the First President of different years and young talented musicians presented their performance, performing works by contemporary composers.
Justin Gurwitz, Tolegen Mukhamedzhanov, James Horner, Joe Hisaishi, Leonard Bernstein, Adilzhan Tolukpayev, Abulkhair Zharaskan, Eduard Artemiyev, Hans Zimmer - many of them know their names from films, the music they wrote. The incredibly beautiful performance of the Laureates of the Foundation of the First President featured compositions from «La La Land», «Troy», «West Side Story», «Schindler's List», «Gladiator», and «The Path of Leader».
The current concert was organized by the organizers to coincide with the Year of Youth announced by Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev. The grand event left not only deep impressions in the hearts of viewers and admirers of high art, but also fulfilled a kind of educational function. Winners of the Foundation of the First President, recognized masters of the big stage gave a creative workshop for young artists.
The legendary stage of the SATOB named after Abay the laureates of the Foundation were divided with beginner talents. For most of them the performance in the theater of opera and ballet was held for the first time. The honored worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, tenor Medet Chotabayev, pianist-accompanist Gaukhar Tasbergenova, flutist Zhibek Sapargaliyeva, golden cello of Kazakhstan Yermek Kurmanayev, honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, soprano Bibigul Zhanuzak, mezzo-soprano Tatyana Vitsinskaya, first violin of «Astana Opera» Kalamkas Dzhumabayeva and others.
Incredibly touching performance captivated the audience the children's choir of the republican Kazakh secondary boarding school named after Zhubanov. The youngest participants of the concert performed the not easy in their genre work of composer and conductor Carl Jenkins «Adiemus».
And one of the brightest and incendiary moments of the concert evening was the performance of the choir of the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy under the direction of the Laureate of the Foundation of the First President, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yan Rudkovsky. The talented students of the main musical university of the country well sang Alibi Abdinurov's work «AinaLine» and the dynamic composition «Rio».
The symphony orchestra «Ne prosto orchestra» conducted by the young conductor Madiyar Toyboldy gave a special atmosphere and grandeur to the concert. Despite the fact that the band is not yet two years old, it has already gained fame and popularity due to the virtuoso performance of the music from the films.
