Kazakhstan fashion designers have presented capsule collection at Azerbaijan Fashion Week 2019

Sisters Aya and Bota Kirgizbayev won a grant from the Foundation of the First President for a creative project - a capsule collection of women's clothing with a national style. Talented young fashion designers presented unusual looks at Azerbaijan Fashion Week 2019 in Baku.

Designers have prepared a modern line of clothes with elements of the Kazakh historical costume. The collection was presented by women's basic items - blouses, trousers, skirts, coats, jackets, as well as accessories in the form of backpacks.

At all stages of tailoring, natural and original fabrics were used, including linen, cotton, wool, as well as boucle, tweed, etc. The process of creating the collection consisted of a long and detailed development of technical patterns, review of the concept, selection and purchase of necessary materials and accessories, fitting and sewing outfit in the shop.

— ‘When executing the project, we preserved the original integrity of the idea, transforming and adapting to the realities of modernity unique original types of clothing as part of our rich cultural heritage. We created the original and laconic looks for the modern Kazakhstan woman’, the authors of the fashion collection note.

The unusual fashion collection, in the development of which were applied artistic methods, handwork, mixing colors and combining a variety of textures of fabric, really conquered and impressed designers, buyers and true fashion fans from Azerbaijan, India, Morocco, Russia, Uzbekistan, and France.

‘For the first time on the podium of Azerbaijan Fashion Week the debut of the creative duo of the Kirgizbayev sisters representing Kazakhstan took place. The collection, created with the support of the Foundation of the First President of Kazakhstan – Elbasy, became one of the most original and at the same time wearable during the second day of shows. Clothes and outerwear, as well as bulky backpacks, will look modern and appropriate not only on the podium, but also in everyday life’ one of the professional reviews addressed to talented Kazakhstani women states.
