Grant Competition for Participation in Cultural and Art Events

This competition has been held by the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation since 2008 and is aimed at supporting young Kazakhstani cultural and art figures. The main goal is to enhance the professional level of participants and promote the achievements of Kazakhstan's culture and art on the international stage.

Grants are provided for participation in events in the following areas:

• Literature and journalism.
• Choreography, music, theater, cinema.
• Visual arts, architecture, and design.

What does the grant include?

The grant covers travel and accommodation expenses for up to two weeks (14 calendar days). Participants are selected on a competitive basis.

Who can participate?

The competition is aimed at the following categories of participants:

1. Cultural and art figures:
• Age up to 40 years.
• Professional education.
• Participation individually or as part of a creative team of up to 3 people (for choreography and music - up to 5 people).

2. Students of educational institutions in the field of culture and art:
• Individual participants or creative teams of up to 3 people (for choreography and music - up to 5 people).

The main selection criteria are:
• The significance of the event in which participation is planned.
• The applicant's creative achievements.
