Astana Club is an international discussion platform. Meetings of the Club are held annually with participation of prominent politicians, diplomats, and distinguished experts from leading think tanks of the USA, Russia, China, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
The key mission of the Astana Club is to discuss global trends and find solutions to the most important problems affecting the world as a whole and the region of Greater Eurasia.
The organizers of the Astana Club are the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy and the Institute of World Economics and Politics (IWEP) under the Foundation.
Since 2015, key trends that shape the development contours of the Eurasian megacontinent have been discussed within the Club’s platform. Among them are the competition of world and regional powers, escalation of military-political tension, trade and sanctions confrontations, international terrorism, problems of migration and the environment.
Kazakhstan shows once again that it is an independent and neutral platform for dialogue, open to all participants in international relations, including mutual rivals and competitors. In this vein, Astana Club is a vivid embodiment of Kazakhstan’s multi-vector foreign policy.
