The Executive Director of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy, Kanat Dzhumabayev, met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Alexey Nikolayevich Borodavkin.
During the meeting, Kanat Dzhumabayev acquainted the distinguished guest with the activities of the Foundation in the field of human capital development, support for social projects and charity.
In turn, Mr. Ambassador noted the similarity of the development paths of both countries and praised the efforts of the President of Kazakhstan in supporting youth, cultural cooperation and education.
The possibility of holding an expert round table, a conference dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the idea of the Eurasian integration and the 5th anniversary of the creation of the Eurasian Economic Union in Moscow, as well as the participation of Russian experts in the international forum «Burabai Forum» was considered.
A. Borodavkin informed about the initiatives of the Embassy in the field of cultural cooperation, such as the exchange of masters of ballet and theatrical art, holding unique exhibitions and interaction of experts.
The topics of the annual meetings of the «Astana Club» international expert club were discussed separately. The ambassador showed interest in attracting authoritative Russian statesmen in the work of this platform.
