Republican Competition for Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation Student Scholarships

This competition has been held since 2010 and is aimed at supporting talented youth in Kazakhstan. The scholarship was established to encourage excellent academic performance, active civic engagement, and identify promising young leaders. It motivates Kazakhstani students to achieve new heights and accomplishments, developing one of the key areas of the Foundation's activities - talent support.

Who can participate?

Students of all fields of full-time higher education institutions and specialized secondary institutions in the field of art and culture can participate if they:

• Successfully completed at least two years of study.
• Show high academic results (excellent performance) for each year of study.
• Actively participate in public or research activities.
• Have achievements in national or international competitions and festivals (requirement for students in the field of «Art and Culture»).

Both students studying on a free basis and those who study on a paid basis can participate, provided they meet the above requirements.

The competition is held annually and includes two stages:

First round (university level):
Held within the educational institution, where the best students are selected for nomination for the scholarship. This stage takes place after the end of the academic year and before the start of the second round.

Second round (republican level):
Organized by the Foundation among students selected by universities. The second round usually takes place in July-August.

Scholarship Competition

The competition provides talented youth with an opportunity to gain recognition and support, motivating them for further development and new achievements. Winners receive a monthly scholarship from the Foundation throughout the academic year and are awarded the title of «Scholar of the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation».
